day 1-3 Deception Valley, Kalahari Desert
Your journey begins in the otherworldly landscapes of the Kalahari Desert, where endless horizons and golden grasslands create a sense of space and solitude unlike anywhere else in Africa. A stay at Deception Valley Lodge places you in a private reserve on the northern edge of the Central Kalahari, an area renowned for its unique desert-adapted wildlife and rich cultural heritage. The lodge itself offers a welcoming and comfortable base, blending rustic charm with thoughtful touches, and providing an authentic yet refined safari experience.

day 4-6 Lower Okavango Delta
After a thrilling helicopter transfer into one of the most remote areas of the Lower Delta, you’ll spend the next three nights at the rustically beautiful Mokolwane Camp, an intimate camp with an emphasis on exclusivity and connection to the surrounding environment.
The southern Okavango is known for excellent year round game viewing. The mix of open savannah and mopane woodland provides a perfect habitat for so many species. And with abundant herbivores, the predators are rarely far away. In fact, this area of the Delta boasts Africa's 3rd densest leopard population. Lions, Cheetahs and Wild Dog numbers are also excellent. So much so the BBC chose this area to film their 'Big Cat Diaries' documentary.
Included in your stay is a choice of morning and afternoon game drives, night drives, Mokoro rides (seasonal) and birding safaris.

day 7-9 Upper Okavango Delta
Choose from the various land and water based safari activities offered by the lodge, including game drives, boat safaris, and mokoro rides.
In your down time during the heat of the day, relax by the pool with a camera in hand. With the river right in front of you wildlife can pass by at any time.
Your Botswana adventure concludes after breakfast on Day 9 with a light aircraft flight back to Maun, leaving you with a collection of unforgettable memories from one of Africa’s most diverse and rewarding safari destinations.
