day 1 Kigali
After settling in to your luxury hotel, venture out to explore perhaps the cleanest and safest capital city in Africa with a private guided Kigali city tour. day 2-4 Volcanoes National Park
Before returning to Kigali, on your final morning, head out once more, this time in search of the endangered 'golden monkeys'.
Similar to the Gorilla trek, you will join a group and head out into the forest with a ranger and once you locate your habituated troop, you will have an hour in their company, watching them leap between branches or frolic on the forest floor.
If time allows consider adding another night and trek to the summit of one of the volcanic peaks that give the national park its name and gaze across crater lakes and endless forest stretching into Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
